Wife and I were married in 2005. Son arrived on our 1st anniversary. W lost her father in October 2006 and brother in August of 2007. Daughter was born in 2008. Things were rough for a while and during the weekend of the funeral for her brother I was out of town and she went out with some friends including her HS sweetheart. She stated in her diary that I inadvertently found later on that the feeling for him were still there. I kept this a secret for three years but I became suspicious and started checking cell phone, email, facebook etc... During this time I found some texts that raised my jealousy level but I dont think she ever did anything inappropriate. Needless to sa our sex life was non-existant and she never showed me any real affection or appreciation. I finally let on that I had been checking her cell phone andnow after 4-5 counseling sessions she is walking away. Her biggest support group may be her best friend who is a singl mom and another two friends who have been divorced. I'm trying to take the high road but part of me says why bother and I shoul just move on. I feel so bad for my children and I don't want this to end but it seems from what I have read this may take forever for her to come around since she seems to be going through a mlc. To further make her life miserable, she was diagnosed with lupus and had a sever leg injury this past year. I have tried to change and make her life easier but she says it's too little too late and she has no feeling towards me. Sorry if this didn't flow well but I am an emotional rollercoaster right now.

Greg - I am glad you found this forum. You will gain a ton of advice and perspective as you journey down this path. First things first. Have you picked up a copy of Divorce Busters or Divorce Remedy? If not, please do so as soon as possible. There is valuable information contained within those pages. Don't share anything you learn here directly with your W. It is for your use and growth only. Post often and you will find the support you need.

I will run out ad get it tonight or tomorrow. Going to church today really helped and when I picked up my son from MIL she told me she knew almost nothing about the situation. W has not given details to MIL. I think she is a bit ashamed about this but her three close friends who are no longer married are giving her support which is never going to be good for us. Oh well. Gotta move on and worry about my kids and get my life back on track. I have had tons of support so far so I just need to rely on others for a while. Going to visit the Pastor who married us tomorrow night to get more advice from him since our therapist could not deter the situation.
