Help with signature and other board stuff?

Hi folks,

New guy here with some questions. What is the info I see in people's signatures, and how do I decrypt those?

I don't seem to have permissions to use the search tool- any reason?

And when I view all forum topics, the right-hand column is "last post," but when I click on a forum (SSM for example) the right hand column is "posted." Is there a way to switch how that is viewed? Makes it hard to stay on top of new posts.

The abbreviations post is a life-saver But generally for sig liens:

M=married
W=wife
H=husband
SS, SD=step son/daughter
S5=son five years old (number means age)
D8=daughter eight years old
T=together
ILYBINILWY, ILYB = I Love You But I'm Not In Love With You
Bomb = The day our spouse/sig other told us ILYB or that the relationship was over
D = Divorce
DBing = using Divorce Busting principles
Sep = separated
Goes ALASKAN = only used by 25 and actually means her H went to Alaska

I don't know why you having problems with the Search tool.

When you view each individual forum, the default for the "Posted" column is to display in reverse chronological order, so the newer posts should display toward the top. You can click on any of the column headings to re-sort the display.

So....what's your story? What brings you here?

I also am having problem's. I can not add a signature it says I am using too many characters even if I only use one. Please help.
This is what it says.

Signature: (up to characters) You may use UBBCode in your signature.
