((DG))

You can do this, girl. You are strong enough. You are smart enough. You are beautiful enough. You are resilient enough. You. Are. Enough.

This is not easy, but you can do this.

TG I just read your latest post and seriously, how do you do it?
How do you stay so positive? I have positive days but I admit my PMA is no where near where yours is.

Happy Saturday fellow DBers.

I hope you are all having a good weekend.
I just left my friends wedding ceremony. It really was a beautiful-and quick, ceremony. The bride looked absolutely stunning.
The reception starts in about an hour so I thought I'd pop in.

I have to say, I clean up good. My dress fits perfectly, my hair looks good thanks to my stylist, and I just feel good.
Only one person has asked where my H was, and I told her we are no longer together and left it at that.
I'm looking forward to dancing my pants off with my friends!

DG - glad you're going to GAL and have fun.

I read the part where your WAS hasn't done much to work on himself... mine either. What's the point in leaving your marriage if it's not going to make life better for you? I would much rather see him happy.. but he still seems to be miserable.

One of the great mysteries of life, I guess.

Amazing weekend. It's been a long time since I've been able to say that.
Yesterday was my friends wedding, I looked great, I felt great..and I had a good time.

Went out with some friends for a while after the reception, and I was starving. Lo and behold there was a guy with a hot dog stand on the corner so there I stood, in my nice dress looking all dolled up waiting for a hot dog. And that hot dog was GOOD.. Surprisingly, I didn't spill on myself.

About 1:30am I received a text from H that said :

You looked beautiful in the wedding pics.

(Courtesy of being tagged by mutual friends on FB)

Followed by:

I shouldn't have sent that. Sorry.

WTF? What's with the passive aggressiveness?
My response:

Ok, well I was going to say thank you, but since you shouldn't have said it I'll just ignore it.

Seriously? What's he doing?

IMO?
He still remembers you fondly, has some residual feeling, but also realizes that his contacting you might hurt you.

Maybe I'm giving him too much credit, but that's how I read it.
