Can I "fake" GAL?

I had a small R talk with H today. His brother is coming to town for a convention and has asked to spend the night with us rather than stay at a hotel. The problem is that H hasn't told his brother that we are separated! H said that he didn't want to tell his entire family since "we are still talking and haven't finalized anything yet." I told him his brother would probably be understanding..BIL is wise, mature, and happily married. H is still hesitant and said he would figure something out. After our conversation, I emailed him and offered to let them both stay with me so he didn't have to let the cat out of the bag. I see it as an opportunity to come together again for longer than a few hours and see what happens. If this was a mistake remains to be seen!

On a happy note, I only have to work 4 more shifts before my mom comes to town. We are going to pamper ourselves with mani/pedis, go see some summer movies, have dinners out, clean out closets..and most importantly, go apartment shopping!! I am so excited for the fresh start and to pay cheaper rent than what I am paying now. I know regardless of what happens, I need to take care of my living situation asap. I'm going to live where I want to and not worry about how far it is from where H is.
