You seem to be in a better mind frame MLC.

I think the pup is a great part of GALing and down the road? A gret way to meet women if it goes that way. : )

J3B,

I do have a better frame of mind. The summer weather helps too. Still miss my W, but know everyday that goes by, things will get a little better. Life will go on, and so will I. The Match.com experiment showed me there are plenty of fish in the sea, but now is not my time. As I've said, my W's MLC story is not yet written all the way, and it remains important to stay out of the storyline as much as possible. This includes potential drama and conflict with W and kids relative to dating. Why not just keep taking the high road? It's worked well so far.

I have seen incremental positive changes in my W over the last 2 months, but hold no illusions of any near term breakthroughs. I am hopeful and positive, yet remain realistic. The love and support of my two girls are what keeps me strong.

I remain an interested observer of my W's life, but I do not participate nor press her with a lot of questions. I keep the door open for her to talk whenever she wishes, and just listen and agree with her mostly. Without going into detail, she continues to test whether I am safe to be around (will not pursue her, will not judge, get angry, etc.), and continues to open up incrementally to me. I am her friend, no more, no less. This is my choice. I know she cheated on me. She made a decision, and a mistake in my opinion. I have forgiven her and have moved on with my emotions.

The pup has been fantastic as he's keeping me busy 24 / 7. As for being a chick magnet. Well, it will be what it will be. :-)
