Had a wonderful birthday. Went to Coney Island in Brooklyn with my sis, niece, nephew and my son. Rode the Cyclone, played some games, wallked out on the pier. So much fun!
Went back to my sister's house and had my chocolate,chocolate cake. A couple of friends were there.
While I was sitting at the table, my beloved 4 year old nephew was blowing bubbles in his milk. I asked for a straw and started blowing bubbles, too. He turned to me and said, Aunt B, promise me no matter how old you get, you will always blow bubbles. I promise, I said. And I will.
I played Just Dance with my 11 year old niece. Me with my bum legs and old body. I told her, you play to win. Go all out.
She beat me the first three times. And then she looked at me and said, uh, oh, you have that look in your eyes. I said, put a rock song on. She did.And then,I beat her. How did that happen, she asked. I said,through sheer will power. LOL!
When it was time for me to leave, they were hanging on me. Aunt B, when we grow up, we want to be just like you. I said, when I grow up, I want to be just like both of you.
