I want to take this opportunity to extend a hand to any service member who may be having difficulties in their marriage. Ours is a profession with many hardships, and problems. As a result our marriages and relationships suffer. As a community we have a much higher divorce rate.
If you are a vet having issues I want you to know that you can find the help you need here. Whether it is advise, a place to vent, or just somewhere to read up on similar stories, I and other military veterans on this site know what you are going through and would love to help.
You can read our stories or post your own. You cam remain completely anonymous, and don't even have to say you are military. Most importantly though get the help you need. We are here for you.
Also, your chaplain can provide confidential help to you if you need it one on one, (as long as it does not affect the safety of you, or other troops) as can a psychologist.
If you have issues that can affect the safety of you or others, get some real help asap, b/c you deserve it, AND, know you are not alone.
Have a Great weekend.
We remember.

Thanks greenblue. Being in the service certainly adds an extra layer of complexity to a marriage. I have talked to a chaplain a few times during my sitch. They are great people...huge hearts and open arms.
