H walked out 6 days ago by letter...

And I haven't heard from him since. I was married 4 1/2 years and together over 9 years. No kids. He's 29 and Im 34. The letter says hes not having an affair but just needs to leave. How do you leave someone without telling them to their face. I will never understand that. I was a good devoted police wife and this is what I get for all my trouble. How do I get passed this? What do I do?

Can I suggest you post your story in the Newcomers section. There's a lot more traffic over there and some very wise folks to help you out.

One thing you do need to be prepared for is that there maybe an OW.

When you post in NC put in some more details about your marriage and if you have kids, etc.

Thank you and my story is there also because I wasn't sire of everyone could see every page since I just joined. PS ow, is something he mentioned in other men in his life having but not something he would do. Yet that is to be seen, since he felt like mentioning it in the letter. He did move to his brothers across our street which I can only confirm by seeing his car. Doesn't that confirm how much of a coward that he is that he is so close and still hasn't come by or call to end this. Never how we ever had negativity to this level in all our years. I'm am just in awwww.
