Some once wrote: "Why would you want to be with someone who doesn't WANT to be with you?".

Or another perspective: "Why would you let someone compromise what you believe and who you are by what they are choosing or not choosing right now?"

Or "Why measure your own self worth by what someone chooses to give you back or by if they WANT you?"

I am not trying to say it's wrong to feel that way but there is a perpective I learned beyond that "tit for tat" way of looking at this tragedy.

Once I got past it, compassion and healing made their way into my life.

It ain't easy and it ain't what most people do either.

Just my own experience and I thought I would share it for what it's worth.

The fact that you are here is demonstration of your courage. We will NEVER be disapointed in any choice you make.

We are not here for that.

We have all been there and made bigger mistakes.

Trust me. At least I did.

We are here for you and to give you the benefit of those mistakes and hopefully save you from the heartache they bring.

Comes a day...when you will be typing these word to someone else Country.

Don't sell yourself short you are doing well

But also

Never do we stop doing this.

And each turn brings new things and we bring to bare our knowledge that which we hope to be.

Thanks for those words TG, they mean a lot.

On the positive front, I bought a new bike today, my bro and I have plans to go riding this weekend. He is really into it, so that will be a good activity for me.

And THANK GOD it is golf weather again!

Between guitar, mountain biking, golf and being a 50/50 dad, my GAL will be full! Plus I have to fit my "going out" time in there somewhere (I still enjoy a drink now and again).

I'm looking at a trailer for D to go with the bike. Me, the dog and D cursing around. I think I'll take a picture of us 3 and then draw in the W and send it to her. Good idea?
