Help! My husband finally has agreed to read a book about MLC. I have read a ton but want to MAXIMIZE this opportunity to get him the best information. Do people have recommendations about which one is most helpful and illluminating for a man deep into Replay of MLC?

I have only read one and it was Men in Midlife Crisis by Jim Conway...it was very enlightening.

That's the one I read too--and it was a good book. I can't speak for other books but it is by a man, so maybe that's a plus? I can see a man being put off by any MLC book written by a woman.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I appreciate it. Has anyone had experience with an MLC Husband who actually could admit to himself and spouse that he was in MLC?

Yes, mine did. Once he left and fully got in a relationship with the OW, 15 years younger than him, he said "Yes I admit I was in MLC but it's over now. The MLC taught me to take control of my life and live the way I want with the person I want. Nothing against you, you're just not right for me anymore and that's what my MLC taught me."

No kidding. He thinks his MLC is over. I think he's still on the way to the peak of it!

There are a number of books that are very good..Jed Diamond is at the top of my list.

I initiated a thread many years ago that was called Highly Recommended Reading Materials. You may want to do a search and locate it. A lot of posters posted with great books for both you and your h.

Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to.
The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.

I put similar information on your other thread.

Try to stick to one thread if possible.
