I thought that perhaps a lighter thread was needed here. Maybe something to take our minds off things a bit and try to find some humor in this mess we are all in.

So the question is, what strange or perhaps funny thing have you done since your S left?

For me, I have grown a beard. I haven’t shaved (expect for trimming neck, etc) since my W left. I always wanted to try to grow a beard; I even started one over the holidays and then got cold feet. But when my W left, I said screw it and began to grow it. I am digging it, I work in a professional environment so I have tried to keep it trimmed and clean looking. No one has complained, so I am keeping it going for a while.

So what do you have? Anything?

Lets see: I bought a piano. Hey i have not turned on the TV once after my wife left (could not take those happy families they show on TV). My media diet has been netflix. I now shave once a week rather than once in 2 days. My favorite. I now eat my food on the bed(never did that in 11 years!).

HA! Good question Country!

Me? Eyebrows waxed! LOL... Didn't really need it, but W had always told me that it would make me look more clean cut... I never wanted to... Now she's teasing me that it took her leaving me to get me to do it!

That takes a real man to admit that one Denver! grin

Funny though, I have a total unobrow. I bought one of those personal shavers and finally took care of that as well!

Wow! I bought the personal trimmer and got rid of the uno brow and nose hair. Made me feel good about myself. Now I need to get rid of some of the grey hair on my chin!

I began watching old northern exposure reruns. Saw an episode in college and thought I would like the show. I remember my parents watching it when it was on

Since my S left: I sleep 5 hours consistently, doesn't matter when I go to bed.
I seldom watch movies or TV anymore. I am more active.
I bought all new sexier lingerie, new clothing ( I lost at least 5 sizes and still losing). I wear more jewellery and perfume and makeup.
I colored my hair a wild fun color and got a new hairdresser.
I have more fun on the weekends. I enjoy my kids more and they me.
