H&I have been separated since 11/7/10. He has/had a girlfriend since middle of October. He wants a divorce and wants to be with her, she is also approx 12 weeks pregnant. We have three young children together. We have both had affairs. He feels relationship is irreparable. I disagree of course.

They say not to let your spouse read DR. Is DB okay for him to read. I'm reading it right now and dont like it nearly as much as DR. He said he would genuinely read a book for me, I just want some suggestions on what book to give him that might spark a lil interest in reconciling. We have been together for 17 years, married 13.5 years.

Three girls 7,6,3. Both work full time.

Thanks...

I would go for the KLA tapes, they are great for two of you working together. The books are best used alone. You could also try the Marriage Breakthrough DVD. But KLA, he could play in his car by himself, or use his MP3.

DR is basically the upgraded DB.

Even he isn't really willing to work on the marriage? we aren't really doing it together? I just hope I dont make any minute possibility even more non-existent. There isn't a hold lot to hold onto at this point. Or maybe there is????? Hmm......

I am not 'suggesting' that you give your husband anything to read or work on. As I understand you are asking which materials would be best to give him if he were interested.

My opinion is you should draw him in and get him excited about working on your marriage first.
