So time for a new threat! Here are my 2 first threads if you want to catch up!

My goals:

1. Become a better person;
2. Learn to control my ego;
3. Learn what love means to me;
4. Learn to love my W unconditionally;
5. To become a better H;
6. Learn to be more in control of my personal happiness;
7. Understand my share in the breakdown of my M;
8. To be resilient through the worst disaster of my life - the breakdown of M;
9 To be strong and confident through this;
10. To maintain hope no matter how dark things may become in the future.

Thanks to everyone who has provided me with support and advice as I have progressed to this point in my journey.

Denver

Hang in there bud. You've been a great help to me.

Keep working your goals.

You're going to have a good life. You W gets to decide whether she wants to be a part of it or not. If not ... you're going to have a good life :-)

Denver...

These look really good. One of the posters here once told me that "Hope is not a plan". Not sure if you need to rework #10 based on that???

I may adopt these for myself. I can read them every day to combat the reality of the situation that we face when we first get up in the morning.

I think it was TimeHeals who said Hope is not a plan.

And it is not.

Its not a bad thing to have hope, it's what will keep you going, your ace in the hole even when you curse it. But yes, its not something to hang your plan upon.

Maintaining hope is not a bad goal, just don't let it drive the car. : )

Thanks everyone! I also read that 'hope' is not a plan. But we have to have 'hope' that something can be attained or that a goal can be reached before we are motivated to come up with a plan. Goals 1-9 on my list are my plan to get thought this process.

Thanks J3Bs for weighing in on that!

I do have some updated info that I've been wanting to post for a couple of days now. And I will have some more after this evening. I will catch everyone up either tonight or tomorrow.

Also, I am having a delay with all of my posts showing up, so I apologize to everyone if it doesn't seem like I am responding or that I have quite following any of you. Make sure to always go back and read back a few posts on your thread. Both delayed posts (like mine right now) and non-delayed posts appear on the thread based on the time of day that the poster put them up. The problem is that some of them don't actually appear for hours while others appear immediately. It's easy to miss replies if they are delayed. So, if I post something at 10 a.m., and member x posts something at 10:30... member x's post will show up immediately and mine might now show up for hours. You will have already read member x's post and no see mine bc you thought that you had read everything prior to 10:30 a.m.!

Sorry... rambling. Frustrated that my posts don't go up quickly.
