My dear friends, there are times on this journey when you begin to have doubts....
It is a natural progression because of the actions of our spouse.
We doubt ourselves. We doubt our faith - in God, in people.
I was at that point this week. I was worn down. I had a lack of faith.
But something happened today to change that.
I know some of you were probably waiting for a story. Here goes:
Me: Dear Lord, I'm sorry but I am struggling.
HE; My child, what if I were to tell you that there are a great many people who care about you?
Me: I'm sorry, but I would not believe You.
HE: What if I told you that some of them are people you have never met, people you have never even spoken to.
Me: I would find that even more difficult to believe.
HE: Well, it is at these times when you must have the deepest trust and faith. For if you have faith in all that is right with the world, you will never be wrong.
Me: Thank you for showing me, through your children, that we are never alone and that we are all connected. Thank you for showing my son that through faith, we shall never be lost.
MY FRIENDS, THANK YOU FOR GIVING MY SON A GIFT FAR GREATER THAN WHAT COMES IN A BOX. IT IS A MEMORY HE WILL TREASURE FOR A LIFETIME.
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. YOU HAVE TOUCHED ME IN WAYS I WILL NEVER FORGET.
I AM HUMBLED. I AM GRATEFUL. I AM THANKFUL TO HAVE YOU IN MY LIFE.
