Feeling a little sorry for myself today. My birthday was yesterday and my WAH never called, emailed or texted to wish me a happy birthday. I've spent every birthday since I was eighteen with him.
To make matters worse, he sent his girlfriend's mother (who he has never met) a birthday card last month, but nothing for a wife and best friend of the last 18 years.
I did end of having a really nice birthday without him, but it still hurts.

dont sweat it long way to go. im in the same boat my wife has just started responding to my text messages again. i truly believe the gf and bf thing will not last. love him from a distance. dont fight him on the gf thing it will only push him further into her arms.
I'm sorry your H didn't acknowledge your bday, that must have been very painful, especially considering that he sent a card to the OW's mom. I hope that you have people you can spend tonight with, then you can do a sort of belated bday to you celebration. BTW, happy birthday.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Yesterday, as a present to myself I booked a vacation to take with my mom in January. I think I deserve a vacation after the last 6 months.
