Wife made spaghetti dinner tonight, and really enjoyed eating as a family. After dinner I started helping D8 with her math homework while W started paying the bills for the first time in 13 years. It's really a load of worry off my back; I always felt I had to be so responsible for us financially, and she never wanted to be involved as long as there was money when she hit the ATM. She can have the worries!

No R talks. She asked about a friend of mine who's visiting the FBI headquarters, and mentioned she wants an FBI hat. I already had that in the works. Usually she's totally uninterested in any of my friends, so it was a 180 for her to express any interest in my life...

She's going to go visit her sister for a week this month. She definitely needs the time away. So do I. I was thinking of taking a week's vacation to my hometown to see family and decide what I want to do with our relationship.

HI PH,

I just read the last few posts of yours and what gucci is trying to say is to basically stop being sooo mushy. I am a woman and I do not like when guys are mushy. I LOVE to get flowers but I HATED getting flowers or gifts from a guy that I KNEW I was treating badly. Now when I am going out of my way for my husband and have been picking up extra slack around the house due to his work schedule or something then flowers that say "i appreciate you" are great. But why on earth would you send flowers to a woman that is not treating you in the manner that a wife should treat her husband. I am not coming down on you because I was guilty of doing the same thing while I was DBing and before husband and I reconciled. The sex can be just that sometimes...sex. Don't read into.

The above is an incredibly important distinction, that us "DAMs" need to better understand about women!

Dumb-Ass Males (or Men). I normally hate the term, but it occasionally applies. Like when a guy says "only" an EA. Try asking a woman what's more devastating to her heart, the ongoing emotional connection, or the physical act of sex, of a wayward husband.
