i think i worked harder .. i stood in line at the DMV on a saturday morning. costco run, looking at countertops for the new home, went to the wine store .. so many wines, which one to buy?? oh who am i kidding? wine shopping was my fun time.
i ended up getting a new zealand sauvignon blanc (NZ is known for their sauv blancs). made a nice mushroom risotto for dinner.
tomorrow night, it's fresh wild coho salmon for dinner. they had regular atlantic salmon, wild sockeye salmon, and wild coho salmon. i decided to spoil myself and went with the cadillac of salmon.
yes, life is good. simple food like salmon .. a nice glass of wine .. the crisp/cool fall air. ahhhhh ... this time next year, i'll have a deck to enjoy. i will have a gas stove for my grill plate. i'm looking forward to some good red meat and a bold shiraz.
Ordered a sampler pack from CI last week and it included a Vegas 5. Taking W on a one night escape to a beach motel this week and I'm bringing the Vegas 5 as well. Of course the cigar is secondary to...well you know
