I came accross something very interesting. A speaker (don't know who) said that the greatest gift God has given us is vision. The enemy of vision is sight.
Vision is what could be. Sight is what is. Vision contradicts your eyes. There is a reason that the Bible says we walk by faith and not by sight.
What is YOUR VISION? Whether it be for your marriage, career or life in general? What are you seeing now? Is your sight or present reality going to cloud your vision?
When we look back at great people in history we can see where their vision (whether it be political success, military victory or even superstardom) was at stark odds with their reality (poverty, gender, skin color etc.). It was the vision and hard work that got them through.
I absolutly have vison I rely on it. Although I would love for my marriage to work I dream of my life without my H because if I don't I will be devistated if he decidedes he wants a D. I dream and set (achievalbe) goals. My vision gives me strength and hope. This is a wonderful post and so true!

I keep reminding myself I am strong even if I don't feel it. I know from my past this is true. I might just get a tattoo to remind me.
My vision is to have a family with a husband that loves and appreciates me and is crazy about my son.
Meanwhile, I will be the mom I always wanted and needed in my life! To give my S a happy loving childhood at his "mom's" house at least.
