Fellow DBers, I have been a member since February 2010 and have been posting on the MLC boards. I am hoping to receive additional insight for my situation.
I will provide a short summary for those who may not be familiar and I have attached a linked to my previous thread if you want the full details. In summary:
My H walked away from our home on Christmas Eve 2009. Back when he left,, he said he was unhappy for some time and that when he thought about us, he continued to come to the same conclusion - he feels he wants a divorce and that's how he feels. He loves me and cares about me, but does not “feel” he wants to be with me.
Well, after much R talk between when he walked away from our home, he filed a draft separation agreement. However, it sent it so late, that my L and I didn't not have to to respond before he deployed. Yes, right now, he is under military orders (in training now) and has a flight overseas to Afghanistan scheduled at the end of the month. Any input on my thread is appreciated.

My husband of 20 years just pulled the same crap on me, so to speak. But he is about to be medically discharged for injuries from Iraq. My advise to you is to look up Military OneSource for advice and counseling, They can refer you on to other Deployment/Seperation/Divorce Sites. But take it from me PROTECT YOURSELF.
