Ok, nothing to do with our sitches, other then-HEY, it's hard enough to feel upbeat when the sun is shining. Can we get a little break here? Enough already.

So I live about 200 miles from Phoenix. In the 15 winters I've been here, this is about as much snow as I've seen. 3rd day in a row now. I am sooo ready for spring! How about you?

IF you don't like snow...more coming. We get hit first. Like...right now... Two avalances last night.

When I came up here 15 years ago from Phx I was so ready to get away from the bizillion folks on the freeway and the hot-hotter-hell that is the weather there.

The first year here we had a good amount of snow and 10 degree weather but I was excited to not be in 115 degrees on a regular basis. Shoveling snow seemed fun then. I was under 40.

Since that first winter here, it's been much milder, until last winter and this year. You know, the Al Gore syndrome and everything.

But now at almost 55, shoveling snow is no longer that fun. Driving in it or on it even less. And now, back to actually working in it? This could be my last winter in the white stuff.

I'll die of heatstroke faster then frostbite, but the cooler temps have somewhat lost their allure.

I moved to New Hampshire from Los Angeles.

I thought (silly me) that this would be a wonderful place to raise our kids, small town living and four seasons.

Fast forward 10 years later and I can't wait to move away.

I no longer find the snow and the ice exciting or feel that shoveling snow is invigorating.

There can be no testimony without a test.
I am praying to go through this test and come out the other end with a new and better marriage then before.
