In other words, 34% of men and 74% of women reported no feelings of arousal even while they were displaying a clear genital response indicating arousal. And I can't help but wonder if the mens' responses were colored by the fact that they felt greater pressure to "match" their reporting to their physical state, which was apparently erection.
"....Chivers and colleagues reviewed more than 130 studies published between 1969 and 2007 involving participants' arousal responses. In total, the review included more than 2,500 women and 1,900 men...."
That is indeed interesting, especially the part about 74% of the women not feeling sexually aroused when their bodies were actually in a state of sexual arousal.
Kind of puts a new twist on the SSM recommended "Just Do It" advice to the LD partner! i.e. even if you don't feel like doing it, you might enjoy it once you are finished.
Thanks
