A card for the anniversary is good. Agree, no gift. Not mushy, of course. Maybe pointing out that the marriage was good because it created the children and you are thankful for that. Or something to that effect. In no way giving her the "oh, you are so perfect" kind of card.

Good work on the phone call. She needs to pursue you, not vice versa. People only want what they can't have.

Thanks. Yeah - a nice card will be appropriate - agree nothing too mushy. I at least feel I have handled myself and this situation with as much class and dignity as was possible, and want to continue to feel that way, for me. I know that the one comment may not mean anything, it was just a bit of a different tune from her. Time will tell I guess.
