Don't you just want to throw up your hands and laugh hysterically when the wayward complains about only getting to be a part-time parent -- when the situation is entirely one they chose?!? (As if it's any easier for you.)
Totally agree NCB. When he went into that last week on the phone (during a conversation regarding D12's sports activities, I returned the conversation to the relevant topic and moved on. Of course I laughed at the idiocy after I was off the phone!!! As far as the message last night....I haven't and won't respond. What can I say?! "Okay, lets stick strictly to the legal scheule....so sorry you won't see the kids on Father's Day. And next time I go out of town I will hav my dad come stay with the kids instead of offering the time to you."

I wonder if your ex will figure out where the bullet in his foot came from. Somehow I doubt it.
Oh, he"ll find a way to blame it on me!
But in the end, I will offer him the time with the kids on Father's Day because it is the right thing to do and contrary to what he says, I am not a bit$#!!

I talked to a friend of mine about the situation, she knew X for years. She thinks I shouldn't offer the time....make him ask for it. Of course I will graciously let him have the day with the kids, but he'll have to ask....which will go against his decree that we strictly stick to the schedule!
