Steve -- I tried using my in-laws as buffers/referees about a month ago and my WAW hit the roof. She started attacking me AND her own parents verbally. Accused me of being immature and a coward. Yeah well..sticks and stones.
I'd be more than happy to take a 30-45 day break from her, but it runs the risk of showering my kids with sparks. My D4 is very impressionable right now. Then again, the sparks might not compare to the damage of them being moved 200 miles to live near the OM.
I think you're right about him. He's got twin girls already, and I can't see him supporting my WAW and kids, PLUS his LBW and kids. That's why I've really considered whether I should be chatting with his LBW. Maybe a month ago when I had some leverage through his mom, it would've made sense. Now I have no proof (only a gut feeling) that contact continues.
His track record suggests my WAW will be replaced some day with the next mistress. I just don't want to wait around and see my little ones suffer the carnage before my WAW someday realizes what a homewrecker she is.
That's where I'm having trouble detaching. As for my life, I'm excited about what lies ahead. Yesterday I got handed the largest job opportunity in my life on a silver platter!
lol. stick,stones, verbal assaults, vases, my wife actually threw a carving knife at me once. I figure, day day she pulls the loaded gun from the closet is the day I'm moving someplace warm.
