Wife just dropped off babies and not sure how I shouls respond beside Saying Hello and Goodbye? It was very akward

I've heard that just acting like a friend to her would be the best route. Just "act as if" she's a friend and you are babysitting for her. But don't think of it as babysitting or let her know that because you're their father and it's spending time with your kids, not babysitting.
