I will go, as I like his nephew as well, H comes from a very dysfunctional family and his nephew and one other were the only normal ones apart from H.

Well won't be going to dinner, H is meeting nephew at 6pm. I don't finish work till 5.30pm, have to get D home and then back to the city, wouldn't get before 7pm if I was lucky.

Quick update. All is well in the house of Oz again. I broke all DB rules and decided to get the conversation regarding said issue going. I have found with my H ignoring any problems he might have and acting "as if" is not the way to go. Conversation and discussion is the best way.

As they say more of what works and less of what doesn't.

So spent a lovely Melbourne Cup day together.

Haven't posted on my thread for a while but have been lurking around other threads.

I just wanted to wish everyone here a safe Christmas and New Year and hope and pray that all your hopes, dreams and wishes come true for 2010.
