Seriously. I live in SC and he's my gov (aren't I proud!). My H has been strangely quiet this last week, even in the midst of D negotiations.
My H is a card carrying Democrat and has never liked Sanford. He also watches A LOT of CNN. I wonder if he's noticed any parallels to his own pathetic A:
"I'm doing what Sanford did. Wait, I hate the guy. What does that say about me?"

I read that Sanford was one of the politicians that condemned Clinton (who by the way is from my homestate, aren't I proud?) during his sex scandal. Seems like he is trying to keep up with him perhaps even surpass Clinton, Sanford went AWOL to be with his lover.
Sanford is not the first to be in hot water after condemning Clinton. Wonder how many more hypocrites there are?

You mean Gingrich's second affair? He left wife number one while she was recovering from cancer to hook up with number two, then ditched number two to hook up, during the Clinton impeachment hearings, with the much younger chick he's married to now. Rumors were flying inside the beltway few months ago that the current Mrs. caught him fooling around and to make amends, he converted to Catholicism for her.
I think the facts on Gov. Sanford will eventually show that this ain't no MLC (as much as the Gov would like to attribute it to some sort of malady for which he can fashion a cure); those who know the man say he's a lifelong birddogger.
