By the way you were all over bass pro in my brain....I was looking at the fly reels in the display case, climbing on the atvs and looking for snowmobiles...
We have a Cabelas here. It's like Nirvana for me.....
Ice fishing.... not so much. Although a good excuse to drink.
Unfortunately given the kind of snowmobiling I do (mountains, hill climbs, jumps) the "bunnies" you find there are kinda scary.
That being said, I'm spoiling the kids. After this Saturday at noon I will be in a much better place.
I just finished up our annual budget presentation and my boss said it's the best the company has ever done. It's going to the Board today. I hope they feel the same. I present it Saturday morning. Wish me luck.
Saturday night I'm heading to the "big town" of Spokane. I got a hotel room and I'm going to a great little bar around the corner and then to great steak. I plan on staggering back to my room and passing out. Then sleeping until noon, ordering room service and going home to my kids. Trust me, it's much more positive than it sounds.
I dont know how busy Schweitzer is, but one bonus I remember about going skiing by myself was getting on the lift quicker by getting in the single line. And there is always opportunities to ride with snow bunnies. Ski season will open very soon!
I need to take a trip up to Olympia to visit their Cabelas store. We have a Sportsman's Warehouse (you have one in CDA) which is kind of like a Cabelas not on steroids.
I have never done something like that on my own. Well, now is the time to start. I'm not going to put it off. Time to start life on my own. I'm a cheap date.
As for Schweitzer, the singles lines are great, but my ex never skied anyway so that's nothing new.
Hey Woog, Dont be too hard on yourself..? This stuff is tough and you're not Mother Theresa! Glad you figured some stuff out though (how do you DO that !? I need lessons...)
