I can't believe that Christmas is here, and our relationship is on the mend!
My H is staying at our home this week for us to be together over the holidays. I am going with him tomorrow to visit parents... I am going as his wife! We talked today a bit (probably the most we've gotten into things so far) and he said that things feel much better now between us, that things are more balanced. He wants me to be his wife and for us to have a future together.
He said the separation was hard, but a good thing because if we hadn't things wouldn't have changed.
I did say that I have used this time to figure out what was important in a marriage, and that we need to be more balanced and function as partners. I told him that I've been getting counseling since July to learn how to be a better person, better wife.
We are on the right road. I am 100% sure that I would not be here without Divorce Busting, and Jody has saved my marriage by her insight and advice.
I am one of the lucky ones. And it changed overnight. It really did. Something must have clicked. Finally!
