Yup, you heard it. I filed yesterday, and after the Judge heard my story, he has awarded Emergency Sole Custody pending a hearing about Hus' abuse. S15 has started talking. D12 supports his claims. DHS is investigating Hus. PRAISE GOD. I'm having internet issues, I'll try to get online tomorrow, or Monday at the latest. I need to go back to court next week to get a Temporary Restraining Order. If I run into trouble, I'll get in touch w/ Kerry. We are very very safe. Whew. Relief. Peace.

Thanks DB family, I never thought I'd be here, but of course, it had to happen. Doing the right thing is rarely the easy thing. In an ironic twist of fate, my internet connection is finally working. (S18 stopped by today and helped me out!) Seems things are going my way. I might even buy a lottery ticket, since my luck has been so good! Folks, I have a feeling the roller coaster is only beginning. Hus plans to contest these charges, which means S15 may have to testify in open court with Hus staring him down. We are safe, Hus can't find us although we are hiding in plain sight. Plus, the man can't walk! (Hard to get up stairs using wheelchair) I'm trying to find it in my heart to pray for Hus and his healing. There's compassion, and there's stupidity. For now, I'll pray for Peace.
