Question: anyone know of a sitch like this?

Hi all,

I asked in Piecing too but thought this might be a good place to ask as well.. lots of long time posters in both places!

I was hoping you might be able to help me out. There's a newcomer (cottoffgard) I'm posting to who has a sitch I haven't seen before, and I wanted to point him towards posters who are or have been in a similar sitch if I can.

The sitch is this:

1. W moved out with no notice, leaving a "dear John" letter behind

2. W filed for D immediately

3. No abuse - emotional, physical, addictions, etc. My initial take was that you usually see this in abuse situations, but it's not the case here (I'm taking the LBS word for it obviously, but just from "talking" with him here I would be surprised to learn he's not being honest about this)

If you know of anyone in a sitch like that - past or present - and could point me in their direction I would appreciate it!

Yep, sure have Classic WAW. Marriage is over, saw the same exact thing with my ex BIL. They were D in 5 days.
