When he called me yesterday to tell me he was going to stop for a couple of drinks, I thanked him for letting me know, and asked if he was worried about dinner.
I really wished that he was coming home instead of going to the bar, but I didn't say a word.
As I drove thru town to go home I saw that he was already at the bar, and the vehicle of the EA's H was also in the parking lot. My heart about fell out of my chest, but I did nothing. Just drove home, did some laundry and updated my journal.
As I was doing that, I really took notice of all the encouraging little signs that he has shown over the past ten days. They made me feel better, more centered and in control of my emotions.
The more I practice true giving, the easier it gets. Especially since I am now able to truly recognize his efforts and the things that he is giving.

BTW....forgot to include that he later told me that our friend, the EA's dad was also at the bar last night. I knew that his truck was in the shop up north, so I casually asked what he was driving back and forth to work. Guess what? He is driving his SIL's vehicle.
Soooo glad I made no mention of seeing that at the bar while my H was there.
I hope that you're not done with me TD. I can always use a little fine tuning.

Actually I remember my Dad watching it when I was a toddler...some good memories. I loved that David Caradine played a part in the Kill Bill Movies....which I think are absolutely fantastic (if a little on the gory side)

Ouch! Your Dad....? Ok, I didn't watch it that often.
I was more of a 007 girl. Still am.
Never got into the Kill Bill stuff. I do like Uma Thurman though. She is my idea of a kick a$$ girl. What I do in my dreams to all of the OW in the world.
Glad to read that all is still going well for you. Have you started your new thread yet?
You have been giving some wonderful advice to lots of us on this board. You are a wonderful, smart man. I am so very glad that you have another chance with your family.

Then these are a must See....I mean it...you won't be disappointed. Get both movies together and watch them in the same evening....very good plot with mystery and twists and of course lots and lots of martial arts.

TD, you were on pretty late last night. Hope that all is well.
I almost checked in about that same time...H had playoff for league championship last night. I went for drinks with business associates after work and got home about 9.
H was not at pub, so I resisted my laptop and just got a few things done around the house. He did not get home til 12:30 and was very hard to get out of bed this morning. If I hadn't helped him with his lunch he would never have made it.
I have a good day planned. I am out of the office and preparing for a Susan Komen fundraising event this evening. Our local BMW dealership is donating money for every test drive taken in a new car today. They have 25 new BMW's they are using for the event, and we have to "transport" them to the next dealership (about 1.5 hr away) at the end of the afternoon.
They have reserved a hot little convertible for me to drive. It is going to be a beautiful evening....this will be a blast! I know that I am going to want to keep it! So not practicle for Michigan Winter.
