Time flies when you are having fun. Having some here today and just maybe having some more fun in the coming weeks. I have been invited to go to Vegas with some friends. Still looking into that and trying to make it happen. I love it there! Wish someone could come along though! Yes, you FA!!!
Later in the month I will be visiting my parents for their 45 anniversary. I remember when it was their 25 and thought that was a big deal. Unreal! Anyhow, no party planned or anything but I am sure between my sister and I a nice dinner will be held.
Came down to the states to spend time with FA and his kids. His daughter turned 15 and so I surprised her by coming back down. Surprised her so much so that she didn't even know it was me when he had picked her up on base and then stopped to get me while I waited(no pass so I met them at the visitor's center). Anyhow, we had some good laughs at the Olive Garden. One of her choices to eat at so I hope she enjoyed herself, I know FA and I did. We still were laughing about it last night. Later we went to the movie Step Brothers and laughed there too.
Sun has been good by showing itself the past couple of days and that always makes me feel good. Heading home tonight to once again try and get caught up around there.
I have a project I am working on and need to sit down and concentrate on that. Also, finish up on some of my decorating goals that were mentioned in my last thread.
And my God, this thread is getting reminiscent of something! A freaking blog or what???? Anyone else know what I mean? *grin* *wink*

Well I'm off to make some baked chicken and brown rice.Yummy. I hate brown rice.But the chicken will be good.And the leftovers will be good on my salad for lunch tomorrow.

Hey Trip! Things sound good! Congrats to your folks on 45 yrs! Its so great to see people celebrating long years, my parents had their anny a few weeks back.
How often do you get to come down to see FA? and yeah on Vegas!! love Vegas, I'm only about 3-1/2 hrs away but never get to go, planning on a weekend in the fall, ya know so I dont melt! Where ya staying?

I get down here as much as I can and that will be better with FA's new position with having weekends and evenings off.
As for Vegas, I am not sure where yet. My friends are going in on a package with an airline at the Monte Carlo. I will be going on my own and with passes so I get to choose my hotel. There are some great deals out there though!
