This thread is named after a song by Journey that you probably won't recognize. It's from the CD "Arrival" (no Steve Perry, but still TERRIFIC), and it was one of my Getting-A-Life, Blast-It-Out-The-Car-Windows Anthems back in the early days of my sitch. Enjoy!

Actually, they do! That CD came out in 2001.
I meant bands now are...nothing like the "originals Journey, Steve Miller, Eagles, Dr Hook ....
Now they are all "Slap the bitch and put a cap in the cop." not to mention how many times the "N" word is used it songs....Never heard crap like that when I was growing up. No wonder the world is in the shape it is in..... Before things that were wrong and unmoral were not talked about. That was not good. But we have gone to far the other way. Now days the immoral and wrong is glorified.

Thanks for that Rob--that song has a lot of the the thoughts I've had. I feel like I was sleepwalking through life and since the bomb, I kind of woke up and am trying to live life to the fullest. I'm going to try to download that song today to my list of faves-my divorcing mix list! Karen

I am sending up a flare. It was recommended to me by Ian (sofaraway) thatI check out your threads, SDFound, Jack Three Beans, Alimari, and JenJam. I am having a hard time getig to your first two threads. Do you have links that may get me there?
In a nutshell, H is peeking out fo the fog, but we are approaching a six month military deployment. Ian suggested reading ya'lls threads--especially the piecing ones--as a way to be proactive for the end of deployment.
