She would be pissed if she knew that I am posting here, airing the laundry for all to see.

My Hubby too.
Scary huh?
.... and I used to feel guilty about it.
Now?

Do you know how many people benefit from reading eachothers "dirty laundry"?

I even forgave my hubby a little more when I read the things you wrote.
I realized even more ... he is Human too.

Tuesday night, as I lay in bed silently praying that my wife could find the desire to want me as much as I want her, I could feel her caressing my back. It felt so nice for her to initiate touching me like this. Remember that I initiate all forms of contact with her; this is something she rarely does. It made me so horny to feel her light touches on my back but I knew I had to let her do this without it leading to sex. After several minutes of her caresses I moved my hand over to touch her leg and acknowledge her. I then fell asleep with a smile on my face. She does love me. \:\)

I hope this is the beginning of her waking up the part of herself that will desire to touch me and ML as couples are meant to.

Hi Cinco...I saw your "confession" on the other thread.

I just wanted to commend you on being strong, one day at a time. I think this is an important step for you...I will say more about the topic in general on my blog.

I am also happy about your happy morning touches....keep the momentum going forward and don't give up hope...but at the same time, please don't take the pressure off from her....get into the counseling and make it happen!

Just got back from MC and to be honest she kinda creeped me out. I think I may be looking for someone else. I had my hopes set high for this and now it's back to the provider list to find someone else...

Haven't you ever met someone you just feel uncomfortable with? I didn't feel at ease with her talking about my problems. Also when she questioned why my wife doesn't work, she acted like a SAHM was some backwards culture thing. We know many women who are SAHM. WTF?

Hey if you didn't get the right vibe from her, move on quickly. Therapists must be interviewed as if they are a job candidate who will have the very initimate position of your counselor. We can't just assume that even if they came well recommended, that they are the one for us.

NEXT!

But good luck and stick with it...you will find one...

Uh..... I don't think you will like what I'm saying below. Please don't beat me up too badly over it though.

Thursday afternoon when I arrived home from work, my wife and I were alone in the house and able to talk (D was still at school). I gave her the news about the MC being a no go. I reported the "creepy" factor and assured her she you would feel it too from that MC. Then I said, "I'm not sure why I thought we needed to go to an MC in the first place. This should be only our last resort. I would much rather spent the money on taking you out to diner on a 'date' anyway."

Her reaction was a delightful smile, she was even happier than when I told her I would take over cleaning the cat boxes. "Thank you for not making me go to a counselor." We were standing in the kitchen and she grabbed me and gave me a big hug. \:\)

"Counselors?... We don't need no stinkin' counselors." \:\/

We both agreed that we had been doing pretty well on our own so far. I just thought we had hit an impasse and needed help to get over the hump. A little later I brought up about the SSM book disappearing and even joked that I thought she had thrown it out of the car window on the way to her mother's house. We both had a good laugh over that one. \:D She told me she has SSM hidden so I wouldn't be constantly checking on her progress as she read it. She is almost finished reading it too. \:\)

"I need to keep reading my part, section III, the HD section. Should I just get my own copy of SSM?"

Then she said, "Let me order it on Amazon. I need to order some school stuff for D and I'll just get then. Besides, doesn't it embarrass you to buy a book like that at the book store?"

"No, why would it? Nobody pays attention to what you are getting there."

"They might do a price check on it. Attention, this guy is sex-starved, can we get a price on this book for him."

We both cracked up at this, "That's just goofy but OK you can order it online."

For now we are leaving the MC out of our life and going back to working on this ourselves. Just the thought of having to do MC again shocked her into realizing how serious I am about fixing our marriage. It was that extra little push that we needed for now.
