Noticed every once in a while these jolts of energy come round too.

I think too "routine" is something many of us need, it's the pre-cursor to the independence we also need to detach to go to concerts and events etc.

The T saids... Taking out the trash, cleaning out the critters litter boxes, vacuuming, dishes, laundry etc all make us feel some normalcy. Hell, cutting the grass - I was 45 and cut my first lawn. (well I did once when I was 13 and managed to electrocute myself and had concluded that chore wasn't such a good one for me) Funny thing was, I actually got all teary eyed that I had accomplished this myself when I was telling a pal of mine. God... I CAN be self sufficient, ya know? \:\)

In part for me too, I do this stuff as a middle finger to the H. I don't think he thinks I can do it. I even cut my neighbors lawn, just because. \:\) Wild woman with motorized sharp objects ;)... perfect ;\)

Michelle, since you found yourself a real hottie... be on the look out for a guitarist with "special" attributes for me ok... you got a good eye \:\)

Glad you enjoyed the show!!!

Abbey

Well, looks like I have today off. Thank goodness.

I am using the time to clean lol.

Okay, concert. Was fun, had a great time with my friend. The concert was good, conversation was fun, found a great little pizza place for dinner prior. The people watching was decent, but there weren't very many hot guys to watch lol.

One big bummer though...trying to drive around the hills in the Bay Area is a pain in the a$$ in a stick shift when people are tailgating you. Going to the parking for the concert I have to make a really weird turn and needed to back up, but didn't have a lot of room and rolled forward and bumped a high curb. I have a ugly dent on the underside of my bumper.

That stinks! Does it look like one you might be able to pop out?

Too bad not many hot guys to ogle at the concert but I would think that Alison Krauss and Robert Plant might not draw them as much.

Glad you had fun! Pizza sounds yummy! That made me realize I haven't eaten anything yet today.

Lol. (((Mishka))) Better eat! The D diet isn't very healthy. ;\)

Not sure. You have to be lower to see it. Here's a pic of the same model as my car. It's on the corner facing us in that pic, on the lower part, below/on the decorative ridging or whatever you want to call it. It's dented in pretty good unfortunately. Not sure if they would have to replace the entire bumper. Grrrrrrr. I'm so mad about that. Mostly at myself.

But it doesn't impact actually driving the car, so it can wait for now.

Allison Krauss I would expect to draw some cute guys, but I had no idea who Robert Plant even was. The concert was definitely not my normal thing (i.e. country or rock) but it was fun. Although cold. I swear it was only 63/17 when the concert started and it kept getting colder. Brrrrrr. Especially considering when I left to drive out there it was 98/37. Even at night it doesn't get down below 20 most nights here during the summer. It felt like winter lol.

My room is DEFINITELY coming along. It hasn't been this clean in months. Unfortunately, it still has a long way to go. However, it's only going to be 88/31 today, so it'll be cool enough that I won't have to turn the air conditioner on and can work comfortably all day! \:\)

Don't even start with me! I'm bad with group members. And I meant as a soloist!

I have redeeming qualities - I know who Richard Thompson is!

Thank God! I almost had a heart attack when I read that too! Led Zepplin is awesome! I honestly haven't ever heard Robert Plant solo though.

I did finally eat something Michelle - grilled ham and cheese on sourdough. That will probably hold me for the rest of the day. I'm just not hungry.

Good for you on the room! I need to be doing that but I just can't seem to get any energy going today.

Keep it up and have a fab day!!!

Here's a couple of the ones they did last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZXN0KHpvUg and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL29_GH91f8&feature=related

I wasn't sure what to expect from the concert. And frankly, it was nothing I really expected, yet still good (except one or two songs). I mean, I listen to Alison Krauss for her country/bluegrass, and I wasn't sure what their collaboration would be like.

Made more progress on my room. It needs a lot of work, but at least I got enough stuff up to vacuum, of course now most of it is going back on the floor lmao.

And a couple pretty casual TMs with Hot Guy, initiated by him.

I firmly believe Led Zepplin and the Muj destroyed my hearing. However the muj wasn't playing Led Zepplin at the time.
