I have my main post in newcomers, but I decided I'd like to start a thread here too. There are some specific things that I asked for in my M that H complied with which kept me from leaving. There were a lot of changes that needed to happen in my M for me to be happy & feel accepted & loved. I'm starting to feel that way. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel & for the first time in my 18 year marriage, I'm not afraid that it's the train.
M 19 years, MC for 8 months, DB'd for 8 months 4 kids; 18, 15, 14, & 10 I was never meant to be a doormat. It took me years of therapy to become assertive enough to stop his abuse.
