My tenth thread. For those with too much time on their hands, the story is above. Current sitch: D-Day averted but W continues with OM, so I am moving on. Literally. Have just accepted a new job in Pennsylvania. Will be moving in a few months. New court date TBA.

The title is from a Eurythmics song "Love is a Stranger". I never really got into the original version, but I heard a cover on Martha Wainwright's new album, which I really like. And this part of the lyrics caught my ear:

Its savage and its cruel
And it shines like destruction
Comes in like the flood
And it seems like religion

Destruction is dark and awful and wretched, but it can also shine. Like new light. A glimmer of hope amid the despair. At least that's how I like to think about it.

I found that kiss to be.. a little strange and figured that definitely closed the door as far as going back there. Of course, that was before I'd learned that pesky helpful term "boundaries" which I find comes in very handy.

And g, yes.. I bet there are at least 5 women where you live that would be interested in knowing more about you. Unfortunately a few of them are married.. and the others are waiting to see what happens.

I started getting pretty angry with W last night. I'm glad we didn't talk, it probably would not have been constructive. I haven't talked to her since I dropped the job bomb on her, and haven't seen her in person since before D-Day. I really miss her.

You and I sound like we are mirroring each other. it's funny how the anger just comes from down deep.
