Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Does going dark actually work? I have a 4 year old D involved in this mess and I am trying to go as dark as I possibly can without affecting the D.

Thanks!

There is a time for "going dark", and a time for allowing things to open up.

You havent written anything for 4 months. you should probably give more details on how things are now, before people can give you the best advice for your specific situation.

"going dark" is not a magical, "fix all situations" solution.
Sometimes, it is the exact wrong thing to do.
