Hello Sweet potatoes!

I am finally catching up after my weekend in New York/New Jersey. Life back with these crazy kids and their schedules--Yikes, it's a full time job! 3 swim meets just this week for the love of God! That along with basketball practice and games and then ballet--Zoinks!

Anyway, the highlight of the trip was meeting my wifey Lissie! What a beautiful person--inside and out. She has this incredible spirit and she literally lights up the room when she walks into it. Aw, heck, you guys all probably knew that already--she lights up the boards remotely so you can just imagine the voltage in person! Her big brown eyes have so much wisdom and kindness, it was great.

She and her beautiful cousin (who I loved immediately as well) took Augie and I out for Spanish food and it was delish! Augie sat through so much girlish yackity yacking and looked at us like we were crazy--it was so funny. But he loves Lis and Jen too and he juggled snow balls for them. They drove us around and we saw the NYC skyline from the Joisy side--very beautiful. I learned a new term which I will use hence forth: "Bust a U-ie." It was just so good to finally meet in person! I love you Lissie!

The show was, for me, a total bust. I sold one little thing. No biggie though--I look at it this way--I got to take my eldest to NYC to see his first Broadway show which was, as he said, "the best thing I've ever seen" (Young Frankenstein) and we had a fantabulous time together.

New guy and I continue to date and get to know each other but I'm not feeling the fireworks. He's nice, and a good companion, but I still feel that I need to keep my options open at this time in my life. We have not made any promises or commitments, just enjoying each other's company whenever our schedules will allow it.

I have so much work to do--lots of cool and exciting things happening this year so I need to get off my duff and start working!

I love you my darling peeps!

Althea

Saturday, hung out with the kids, and played games, watched movies, then my cousin Jenny came over. Took the kids to my friends house, so that I can go out with my cousin, and meet ..............................

ALTHEA.

Yes. I was so nervous getting ready. It was like I was going out on a blind date. (sigh)

She was here in NJ showing her beautiful minature work.

I went to meet up with her, and as soon as we saw each other, we started screaming and hugging.

She is as beautiful and wonderful as she seems on the boards.

She has the most beautiful skin.

And i didn't lick her or bite her, but i sniffed her hair.

And I met her oldest son. He is a complete pleasure. A doll, so out going, and wonderful. A gorgeous smile, such a wonderful young man. Althea and her son, have a beautiful relationship.

Her son endured me, Althea, and my cousin Jenny just japping away, and giggling.

We went out to eat, and drank some very good Sangria, and ate some wonderful food.

We laughed , and joked, and like with everyone I meet from here,

It just seems like we already knew each other forever.

I drove her around (well my cousin drove) where we grew up.

She seemed to enjoy it , and loved the view of the NYC skyline.

I was fortunate enough to see some of her magical work in person.

I could not believe what I was holding in the palm of my hand. Her work is simply amazing. My cousin and just held her work and looked at each other with our mouths open, like 2 dorks.

She is so super talented. Althea has a smile, that will warm a thousand hearts.

After all she has been thru, she has the grace of a princess.

Love you girlie, and I am so happy I was able to meet you, and squeeze you.

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH

I miss you still, and me and Jenny tried to talk like you the next day like the stalkers that we are.

And

hee hee

Bust a U-ie

Nothing wrong with keeping your options open.

You are way to WONDERFUL to ever settle.

I bet you two had a blast!!! Isn't it great to finally put faces with the people we know from here.

Uh, very happy to hear that y'all were able to restrain yourselves from licking each other. I'm sure your son greatly appreciated it!!!
