Bethie, yeah....she was posting while I was asleep! ;\) No house yet....still looking. Kids are hating life with their mom....and THAT'S where I will start my new thread....

So! It's coming up on 2 years now for being D'd. Life is good. My job...well, I am on dayshift now after being on graveshift for 14 YEARS! It is different I must say and the workload? Almost none-existent.

The kids...roles have reversed....my D14 is now the bad seed and S16 is the "Golden Child". He has figured it out HOW to stay out of trouble or at least, how not to get on the bad side of "Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb". The problems they deal with over there are as follows:

-Phone disconnected so they can't use it (EX says "not disconnected but they are grounded from using it)

-Breakers or fuses pulled for rooms so that they cannot watch TV or use the PC.

-Cable disconnected outside (EX-"No we don't")

-Loss of priviledges (EX says they have to earn them...even the bathroom?)

There's more....a little petty but these are some of the ones that they boast about.

I get them ALMOST every weekend and then have to explain why they can't be with me on certain things. They want to be near me or LIVE with me. We'll see.....

No house yet....still working on that one. Commute to and fro from Canada...not real bad...2 1/2 hours each way....not bad really.
