Hey Lissie Its sad that when they are nice, we have to suspect something uh? I can relate to that, sadly I have found it true w/ my ex.
I say take what he offers!! He may be feeling guilty, or overly generous, sad, missing his family, whatever it is I have found its best to enjoy these times, my ex is very hit and miss, so they dont last long before hes' off being his selfish mysterious self not contacting S for weeks at a time.
Hope you are stayin warm! looks cold out there! well its cold here too, for us
Be Happy for this Moment, This Moment is your Life
I am not used to it, and it makes me think like he is engaged, or she is pregnant, and this is way of softening the blow.
LOL!!! Why do you assume this, rather than: He realizes you are dating and it has dawned on his peabrain that another guy might end up in his house with his kids and he's marking his territory?????????????????????????//
It's just weird after 2 years of feeling like he had a knife in his coat or placed a bomb under your car.....
Mine isn't flat out "nice" but he is calmer and not as mean...hands over the support payments on time and all. No fight. I think the divorce calms them down.....they don't feel the fight anymore, and the freedom must be nice!
Who cares. It just makes for a nicer life for us. I agree, the meanness was really awful. It caused a lot of anxiety in me, I would spend so much time and energy worrying, and it gave me stomach aches thinking about it.
