Sorry that I haven't posted lately. I really appreciate you all checking in on me. Work has been pretty busy and she's been with me every night, so that doesn't leave much time to post. I'm actually in Boston for work right now, so that gives me some time. I feel bad that I haven't kept up with all of your threads too. I hope that you all are doing well.
Things have been going really well. She's been at the house every night except one last week. She still hasn't talked with OM, but she hasn't seen him at all either. It'll happen soon enough though, I'm sure of it. I'm letting her set the pace on things so that she feels comfortable with it all. We've started kissing again which is great. She's almost moved all of her stuff back in. She ended up quitting her job which I encouraged her to do since it was a HUGE stress in her life and I think contributed to her leaving. I think that she got so overwhelmed with life that she needed something to change. Unfortunately she saw the R as her source of discontentment, but I think that she's come to realize that it wasn't. She seems happy and content with her decision to come back. I'm happy and content with it too. Through all of this, I realized that there are very few things that I require from a relationship. She's capable and willing to meet all my needs, so I'm all set.
I'm already finding that this new relationship is much more open and honest than it had become towards the end. We're communicating much better and we're both committed to keeping that going.
I've got to go get some dinner, but I'll post more later and hopefully be able to catch up with the rest of you too.
