Yoyo,
I'm really close to my D14, too. I completely and totally relate to everything you're saying here! Your H is going to wake up one day and realize what he missed, I hope.

Happy valentines Day!!!

I do have a funny little story. My H left for a job and wanted to make sure we had everything going for our Divorce. He told me he was ashamed at how he treated me and how things had gone. But he thought the Divorce would be the best thing for both of us to get on with our lives...Yesterday I get a dozen roses from him and the boys. Talk about surprised. The ladies at work were just as shocked as I what person going thru a divorce gets roses for Valentines Day from her soon to be EX. I had to laugh..They all said they wished their Divorce had been that way. His mom was just as surprised as myself..I called and thanked him and he said I deserved it....We were allwondering if OW got roses too....Wouldn't she be bummed if she knew he got them for me....

Some friends of mine whose H's are gone are coming over for wine and some kind of food tonight. might as well not sit home by myself...The boys both texted me pictures of roses and teddy bears its nice that they remember their mom.....

Have a Great Day!!!! Remember super it is to have chocolate and wine together especially today!!!!

woohoo Penny! I may be too optimistic but are you sure he wants a divorce? Just play it cool. Thank him and don't ask him if he wants a D but let him do the work to get it. Don't you do it. Just doesn't seem like the actions of a man who wants a D.

It is just part of the roller coaster ride.

I know it doesn't sound like someone who wants a divorce. I think he thinks if we get a divorce everything all the things he doesn't want to face will go away. Who knows. I don't have all the anxiety that I used to get and just letting it roll now. Trying to be positive about things. He actually told me that I was the one that is positive and he has the anxiety now. WHat is funny out divorce isn't a cut throat deal. I won't let that happen we have to be involved into much business and with the boys. He doesn't either. So who knows if we can't be married we might be friends. He treats me better now. Go Figure!! I think I'm in a soap opera!!!! No wonder I like margaritas!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Happy Valentine's Day. My husband has already informed me that the price of roses doubled at the food store this week, so I will not be getting any today. But he buys them for me most Sundays, so I'm not complaining.

And I think I will stock up on chocolates tomorrow. But I will go buy a card and make a nice dinner. After all my son deserves a little Valentine's Day love too.

When The Moon Hits Your Eye...

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie
That's amore.

When an eel bites your hand and that's not what you planned
That's a moray.

When our habits are strange and our customs deranged
That's our mores.

When your horse munches straw and the bales total four
That's some more hay.

When Othello's poor wife, she gets stabbed with a knife
That's a Moor, eh?

When a Japanese knight used a sword in a fight
That's Sa...mur...ai.

sara,

Yup, its craziness isn't it?? My h buys me flowers too on regular days, so if I get them today great if not thats ok too. As far as chocolates, I only like dark chocolate raseberry jellies, and cordial cherries (dark cho too) or the raseberry creams... I know high maintenance in that area :)... but I always buy them for myself, dont get them anywhere else!!

H is due home tonight, so we'll see if I get any "treats"

Happy V's to you too!
