Your leader has fallen. As LFL would say "Too bad. So sad."

*****************************************************************

Anyways, this is my segue into saying that although it may not be apparent due to my random fumbling/stumbling manner, on some level I actually have been working my way towards following NOP's advice to me which was to try to find a Wolf who was ready to settle down for my next LTR. IOW hook-up with a guy who is signaling some variation of what Jack is signaling in the article above. At first I thought this was sort of Mission Impossible but I think I've got it pretty much figured out now.

Well this only reinforces in my mind that the whole wolf theory of Blackfoot, Stig and any others that buy into...it reinforces that it's a bunch of horse sh!t. The theory has so many holes in it that if I used it to wipe my azz...guess what?...I'd have a hand covered in sh!t.

Sounds like the old aging lone wolf is lonely...hmmmm imagine that! I'll be sure to stop by the funerals of some of these lone wolves and sign the registery....should be plenty of room ;\)

The theory is absolutely valid but also absolutely limited. If you are a man single or married and you want to get laid by a woman who is sexually aroused then you better vibe pretty wolf. However, it just isn't the case that anyone is pure wolf or any other animal in the zoo and it's better to be self-aware about your desire for things like simple affection and companionship and maybe even a bit of romance. I actually believe that the most rational way to make a decision about a LTR partner, given that you have your zoo in order, is on the basis of compatibility as companion. One dating book I read said that you might want to strongly consider whether the man you are dating would be someone you would want to have lunch with even if he was a woman. A lot of stuff in relationships can be worked out with strong boundaries but you can't really construct boundaries around issues like whether you find the same things to be funny.

Please enumerate some of the many holes in the theory; it would make for an interesting thread. Keep in mind that both blackfoot and Stig have been married. They were also faithful in their marriages so to me, you're in a bit of a glass house with respect to hands covered in sh!t.

If I died today I suspect there would be twice as many people at my funeral than there would have been five years ago, just because I know a lot more people know than when I was married. But if you want to suspect Jack Nicholson's funeral will be poorly attended, there's no stopping you.

Oh I agree it's valid...just as you step in horse sh!t...it's valid...it's still all over your shoe...and...it stinks!

Well this is where I kind of disagree...or maybe I'm just not able to recognize my vibe that gets me laid as being wolf-like \:\/ I can think of only a few occasions in my life where I recognized the vibe as pure wolf when the sexually aroused female was basically presenting Miss Kitty....very unfulfilling fck em' and leave em' sex. I guess what it boils down to with me is this...what animal in the zoo am I looking to get fcked? My answer is all of them...even the ferret

Brilliant author ;\) Should send a copy of that book to Old Lone Wolf Jack.

Where are they at in their relationships now?...I don't know this answer for Stig. What led to the demise of the relationship?
Yea Burg I fcked up, but where did I make mention of faithfulness in marriages in relation to the full on wolf theory??? So if your bringing that up just to throw in my face...well fck you!

I would suspect a very small gathering at mine but I guess this goes back to what you want...a bunch of people that know you or a few that really love ya ;\)

I don't know either of their stories very well. I know blackfoot said his W's affair was because she lost attraction for him, not because she didn't feel secure.

This is where I think you're throwing big rocks in a fragile glass house. When a guy who's cheated on his W thinks he's doing it right as opposed to guys who were faithful and had their W's cheat on *them*...that's the guy who's boot I see being covered in sh!t.

So if your bringing that up just to throw in my face

I'm not.

...well fck you!

Cute!!!

In your first post in the thread you made the number of people at one's funeral some kind of metric:

Make up your mind.

I'm still interested in hearing what you think are the gaping holes in the wolf theory.

To be frank, I have to tell you that you aren't vibing as very sexually integrated with this statement. One thing that disturbed me about your account of your ONS was your behavior in relation to the OW. Unbecoming to a gentleman in my book and I don't care who she was or what the context. The point in vibing wolf is that is what turns on the female, not because that's what necessarily gets your monkey/ferret jumping. Male monkeyshines don't turn on most women much although some of us are pretty tolerant/amused and giving in that regard.

Well, first off, I should note that I doubt that I'll care how many people come to my funeral, unless I pull some kind of Tom Sawyer prank for my geriatric amusement.

All I'm saying is that I try not to date and I certainly wouldn't consider forming a LTR with any man who wasn't signaling/communicating to me that he was willing to vibe both St. Bernard and Wolf. Therefore, if I vibe strong bunny or strong monkey and I don't get the appropriate response then that's cool but I'm gonna be like "Next!". Of course, turnabout is fair play so I better bring some functional adult animals to the table myself.

MJ,
Just out of curiosity, how would you rate the behavior of the OW? Was she playing the part of the innocent virgin princess ;\)
