I don't know Lil, What do you think of this as IC's inner self...

IC's inner self

or maybe this...

IC's other inner self

Or, judging from some of my mischievous posts..maybe I should choose this as my inner self

IC trying to plead his case

Just saw the video over Thanksgiving. And I've used the book and website for research, lol. Have you seen the TCK stuff too? (Third Culture Kids?)

Wouldn't it be great if we could all have inner child avatars and join in a virtual tea party or snowball fight? If I ever get around to opening a virtual bookstore (one of my long-range projects) you guys can hang-out as children and we can all read aloud from our favorite picture books.

Best two pages in all of children's books ...

He
Me
He is after me

Him
Jim
Jim is after him

... with that awesome picture of the little kid biting the lion's (?) tail. I guess my inner child is both of those kids, the fearful one being chased and the agressive one chasing and biting.

LOL- Of course my favorite page was "HOP POP. We like to hop. We like to hop on top of Pop." because that is just what we did when my father read it to us.

My favorite more recent picture book is "More, More, More Said the Baby". It has a wonderful read aloud cadence and it's all about babies receiving different forms of physical affection from various multi-cultural loved ones and then asking for "more".

Another great children's book to read aloud because of the rhythm is Garrison Keillor's "Cat, You Better Come Back."
