MWEL - any news? I hope your absence from the board is a sign that you are filling your time with some meaningful, MWEL-centric activities.

Actually I went on a little vacation over the weekend and now Im very busy at work playing catch up. I was in Denver. I had a great time and didnt want to leave. While I was out there I cleared my head and realized that I am not in control and that I no longer need her. I really do not care anymore..I had an eye opening experience while I was out there and that I realized that I do not need her to be happy. I used some 180's that I have been working on while I was there and the results were far more than I expected. I somewhat came out of my shell. I went out there by myself and actually meet a few other women and hung out with them several times. It was great to meet new people. I did not think about her once..and it felt great. I feel like a new person.
On the other hand she txt's me today saying that she is coming sunday to get the rest of her things and to take the cat. I told her okay. She told me what she was coming to get and I said that's fine. Then I told her that I really dont care anymore..after I sent her that..it was like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I think I am in the beginning of finding out who I really am...and so far I really like this person.

That's fantastic MWEL, I'm very happy for you! Keep up the good work and keep remembering that eye-opening experience out in Denver - it can serve you for a long time. But don't stop there, repeat the process. Keep meeting new people, keep pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. Once you're out of that shell, you never want to go back in!

Thanks MC..Yeah I really dont think I can forget my experience out there. It was literally the best time I have had in a really really long time. So far I am still working on getting out of my zone and it's working...I kinda feel free and like a new person.. It feels really good and different.
