2 weeks to the day from lawyer retained and she has the papers in hand on a Friday. Think that she dropped in mail on Sunday so I should see them this week sometime. She said no surprises and we are doing an uncontested divorce and as long as they are agreeable I will sign in my own time. Don't want to drag it out as she is so far gone and will only piss her off more. Going dark this week and won't contact her unless she contacts me and then not right away unless health emergency. With the holidays coming up and my birthday she is in for a rough one. My whole family knows what is going on but only her parents know on her side. her uncle married us and will have some choice words to say on my behalf when he hears her reasoning. Going dark is hard for me. 5 weeks yesterday was the last time we actually talked on the phone. She has detached herself to keep from having to deal with it. this is the way she does things. She has done it in the past with several of her friends some never knew they were tossed aside. Will keep you guys updated. Let me hear some advice and stories where this worked. Is there anyone on here that didn't R until after the papers were filed?

Papers were here when I got back from fishing trip. No surprises and I have until Friday to sign. Lawyer will look at today and I'll sign tomorrow. She thinks that I will be stall or fight it and I'm done fighting. I don't have it in me any more.
