I am at a stalemate. My H has me utterly confused. Saying on thing one moment, the complete oposite the next. Told him I was done for now. Which I am. Maybe he will get the IC he needs, maybe he won't but its out of my hands.

Hope everyone has some good Halloween plans!

Good for you, WAW. Standing firm almost certainly has HIM confused. Who is this new and lovely creature standing up before me?

You're right, maybe he'll get it (like GD did), maybe he won't. Either way, you're heading towards a better place.

Now, get thee a sitter and get thee to multiple Halloween parties (please have a designated driver).

Thanks Heim. Seems like so many of us are just at the end of our ropes for the time being.

I have been working on detachment since 6 weekes ago when he said he was "Single and dating" so I guess its just settled in. Going to make sure I have my "ducks back" on and go off into the world.

I will keep checking in with you all. Its funny but I have become so fond of the folks on here. Good friends even. Hopefully we will all make it to meet up one day.

Please, please end of Feb. First weekend in March I've gotta cover a trade show in Boston.

Crossing fingers. Either will work for me. But if its the end of Feb, you may get to see my twice as I live in Bean town and can show you some of the finer drinking/social establishments we have to offer!

PS:

Got kid brother to babysit. Originally was going to be $30 and all the snacks & soda he could consume while watching game 3 of the Red Sox. D4 woke up just as I was leaving and was a complete nuissance until 1 AM...he charged me and extra $20 since the deal was she supposed to be asleep. Oh well. It was worth it.

I also got 2nd place in the costume contest at the big party I went to. Needless to say, it evened out the babysitter fee.

Hope everyone else had a good, fun weekend!

That'd be cool.

What an uncle. Glad you got out.

I'm pretty sure I had a good time. I vaguely remember dancing at one point. Made the booboo of drinking about like I would have at a party a year ago. However, since I haven't been consuming adult beverages nearly as frequently, that was NOT a good idea.

Oofah, actually had a semi-hangover yesterday.

Hey I have to give him points...he has never babysat for anyone before this. I think he had to play Barbie & My Little Ponies all night...and I know for a fact he got suckered into watching "The Last Unicorn".

Funny but he didn't say he would never do it again...so maybe I got a regular babysitter on the hook. Like I said, he is unemployed so $20-$40 here and there would be worth the torture \:\)
