Hello everybody!

I went to therapy today and got a new homework, which seems to be easy on the first spot, but on the second, it's not as easy as I thought.
As I think it could be a nice task for everybody in here to think about it, I decided to post it here, so maybe everyone can join in with some of their ideas ;-)

Homework is:
Write a lette to H to and explain to him, why he is worth being loved.
Then write a letter to yourself and explain to yourself, why you are worth being loved.

There we go....
I'd be very glad to get a little brainstorming and discussion going!
Thank you for your personal ideas concerning this topic!
Love,
nanah

I would not share a letter like this with a spouse unless you were "together" (OP is out of the picture) and you are piecing.

I have to agree with Root, if things are rocky it could seem like pursuing. Maybe you could write it and save it for a more appropriate time.

Oh, little misunderstanding:
I will not show him the letter!!!!
I just gotta write it for myself to get my head and heart clear. And to maybe also be clear concerning what I really do love about him. And then be able to express that in a subtle way through little compliments etc.
And I guess the letter to myself is to get clear why I am lovable and intensify these aspects of my life. Or find out what is missing or what went wrong so I can work on the losses/deficites.

My T had me do something kind of similar. She had me make a list of why I wanted to be married to my husband (not to share with him, but for my own personal insight).

Well,

I would say Nanah, that you are worthy of being loved because you are a kind and loving person. I know this because you love your H and you're working on your marriage.

You're worthy of love because you are strong and courageous. I know this because you're seeing a therapist. That means your willing to look at yourself, stretch and grow.

\:\) I hope you have a wonderful weekend and feel love extended to you.
